That is, Fresh City guarantees the value in your bag regardless of weather or pest issues, and there is no season-long commitment. We grow some of our produce during the growing season at our farms in Toronto's Downsview Park and at Baka Mobile. We've chosen to partner with other small, local farmers to offer our members a wide diversity of produce and other local products, and to help support our local economy. A dollar spent on a Toronto-grown carrot typically stays in Toronto.
